the real purpose of life
respected sir,
if we take a close look at all the living beings on earth, we will find that human beings are most developed and evolved species. they have the beautiful gift of discrimination , judgement and analysing things.some people think of life as eating, being merry,living joyfully, marrying, producing their next generation and then dying. most of these things are done by animals as well. then what is the purpose of life?
spiritual texts suggest that after going through 84 lakh(8.4 million) rebirths, human life is attained.(we must believe spiritual texts because science is still unable to determine life after death.) this determines how precious human life is.
we must use this life doing constructive things, helping others.(in our everyday life,we get thousands of oppurtunities to help people.we must be prepared to light a candle where there is darkness instead of cursing darkness.) .we must avoid hurting anybody even by mistake. you must remember what goes back comes back.

There is no purpose to life except to wake up to its reality and celebrate. All life, not just human, is precious. The notion of helping others presupposes that others have problems. All problems arise from a sense of lack and to get rid of this sense of lack, we have to discover the divinity within us. Thus, true help would be spreading spiritual knowledge.
