Abusive dissent

ABUSIVE DISSENT
It is alright to believe in Islam and think Hindus are “foolish” to believe in so many Gods. It is ok to think Muslims are “hyper sensitive and die hard” followers of their religion. It does not matter if you as a Scheduled Caste think that the “Upper Castes” were not righteous in their manners with downtrodden communities. It is right to question Reservations as a tool to bridge the gulf created by the Caste system.
We, as enlightened human beings, have the right to dissent, from our own culture, our religion, our family or with our most cherished values.
What, is not alright is the way in which we express that dissent.
I have read many blogs and so called educated blogger’s comments. They range from invitation to have sex (lick my……..) to abusing an entire community (Hindus/ Muslims/ Upper Castes/ SC/ OBC are…………….) to straightaway blaming the other blogger as a “prejudiced” person for his religion/ community (You are a Muslim/ Hindu so you will always………….)
What does this represent?
Three Things
1. Our Education is “limited” and we might have degrees, but we are not “ENLIGHTENDED”. If we had been, we, who have read Geeta, would not have “abused or hurt” those who wish to seek the same God in a slightly different way (Quran/ Bible etc.) or those, who have read Quran, would not have abused Krishna/ Rama or any of other’s God’s for proving Islam/ Hinduism’s beauty and superiority.
2. Our background, our family values, our culture and the way we have been brought up. For, it is possible that our parents were abusive to us in our Childhood and used to tell us to lick their……….. or in front of us, they used to abuse others (neighbors, distant cousins or other communities) and as young minds, we picked it up form them at a subconscious level and when ever we see something that we do not understand or approve, the only way we could express our disapproval is by offering abuses or ill words or sexist remarks (lick this/ lick that/ your sister was……/ your mother is………..)
3. We are deeply hurt for lack of Sex in our lives and we seek fulfillment by writing sexist remarks on blogs or we seek sex from and in the form of “Socially unacceptable” sources. (I have seen some guys inviting other guys to suck or lick their……….I have also seen some guys showing intentions of raping other people’s mothers/ sisters etc.)
Well, this kind of Abusive Dissent is not cool (if you think so). You need help, from psychologists, social workers and need to understand how to express dissent on someone’s opinion or position. If you have some other problems (like lack of Sex or inability to get into homosexual relationships or feel like raping other women, please, fulfill your “Desires” offline and do not bring your unfulfilled desires on the Blog space, since there are quite a few “Healthy” Souls over here who are satisfied, happy with their sex lives and have been brought up by more sane parents and have been taught “expressing dissent” in a manner Society finds decent and acceptable.)
For the Healthy Souls of the “Normal Bloggers Community”, a very Happy New Year 2007- keep blogging with decency and with mutual respect.
For “Sick Minds” on the blog space I shall prey to God to bless you with wisdom, enlightenment, tolerance, patience, mercy, forgiveness, good upbringing, love, compassion and education in 2007 and onwards.

Dear RAJNEESH, I join you in condemning all those who indulge in using abusive and indecent language. I also do not approve of open disrespect being shown by some bloggers to other religions, in their bid to establish their superemacy. May GOD bless them all.

yes , i join you in condemning all those who indulge in abusive language.i think here comes real education and family background.in family particularly mother who is very near to children , teaches moral values of life.here comes again, girls education.if mother is properly educated, she can teach their children about moral values by telling stories. which i used to listen when i was child.

Introduction - Chennai days

Saturday, December 30, 2006
Inrtoduction
Intro:
I came across NDTV blogs one day accidently while I was sitting in Office one early morning with no work. I found it interesting to read about about different people's experiences and opinions here. And I also decided to share my experiences with you.
I was born and brought up in Guwahati. At present I'm work in Chennai. I find it to be an interesting place , mostly because it it so different from my hometown. After living in Chennai for more than 9 months, I'm adjusted to life here. I love Chennai and the spirit of the people here. I've not faced any problems, except one, which is communication problem, which till now I've not overcome yet. I remember the day the I reached Chennai from Guwahati and got down at Egmore Station. As I had a lot of luggage, i had to look for a porter. He was speaking in Tamil and I wsa speaking in English and neither of us could understand the other. Luckily a gentleman came to my aid. Now I'm trying hard to learn Tamil now but the long hours at office leaves me no time to persue my study of the language. I say proudly to my colleages in Office that I can count from one to ten in Tamil. If they speak to me in Tamil, I say "Tamil Teriyada!" ( I don't know Tamil!).
Tea with colleagues at Office:
I remember the day I had tea with my colleages at office. One of them, Anbarasan, asked me where I was from. I replied I was from Assam. He then asked me, "Assam?!? Then why did you come to India?" It was obviously a slip of tongue but everyone started to laugh. It broke the ice between us.
Travelling bye MTC buses in Chennai:
Chennai's city bus service is cheap and efficient (Of course during office timings it goes haywire, but that is another matter) and you can go to almost all places by bus. Unlike in Guwahati, where city buses go only by the major roads, here city buses goes by most of the roads. But the condition of the buses.... I'm sure anyone reading this from Chennai will understand what I mean. You should hear the sound when the drivers shift the gears. You'd think that something'll break. And the attitude of the conductor ( not all conductors but most) is something...... you just set your foot on the bus and he'll shout at you "ulle poh". ( Go inside , don't stand near the door).
Most buses have two doors. The conductor sits on a seat near the back door and you have to go upto him to pay the fare and get the ticket. When the bus is crowded it isa little difficult but your fellow passengers come to your rescue. You can pass your money to the next passenger, and he/she'll pass it and in this way you get the tickets. This is one spirit of the people here I like. I don't know whether it is done in other cities but in Guwahati, it isn't done.
And here if you are caught travelling without ticket, you 've to pay fine ( i thin Rs 500, but I'm not sure). They are regular checking. I remember one rainy night i was returing from Velechary to CMBT and they were checking for tickets, as people got down from the bus, holding umbrellas.
Food and hotels in Chennai:
Here food is diifferent from home food. You have to learn to live on a diet of idlis and dosas. I love South Indian food. So , to there is no major problem but I 've many guys from our place who stays here and complains about the food. Of course , the meals which we get during day time is too spicy even for my liking. So, usually I take variety rice like Sambar rice , tamarind rice or tomato rice. There's a kind of rice called curd rice, which is rice mixed with curd, salt and spices. It's one kind of food I cannot take. If I say to my folks back at home about curdrice, they'll find it difficut to believe that you can have curd, rice , salt and masala mixed together!!!!!!!!!!What I like in the hotels is that they serve food on leaves. But I must say that even in big hotels, the water glasses does not seem to be washed properly.Near the locality where I stay (Mogappair), is the hotel where I had my first food in Chennai. I tkae food there often but I still don't know it's name as it is written in Tamil. I named the hotel Pagla Dukan ( which in Assamese means "mad shop"). It really had some silly rules at that time. When you want to have chapatis and idlis you had to buy coupons before going to your seat. If you wanted dosas and puris, you can pay after finishing the food!! Now they have abolished this rule. But it's name stuck . I and my cousin still call it "Pagla Dukan"!!
My colleagues at Office:
I must say that I get along well with most of my colleages. I must really acknowledge the help and support I got from my colleages Thiyagakumar and Manikandan. When I was new to the company , i pestered them several times a day. And the poor guys, they'd leave their Pcs and come over to mine to help me!!
Marina Beach:
I love the Marina Beach. I think it is the longest stretch of beach in India. But during the daytime it is very crowded. I like to visit is after 7 at night. There is less crowd then. I'll come mostly across people like me , who're trying to relax after a hard day's work. And of course there are come couples , who try to be cosy with each other taking advantage of the darkness, enjoying the sea breeze and some young boys who comes to enjoy a drink. Every body minds their own business and it is very peacful. You can lie down on the sand and see the clouds moving above the sky, the stars twinkling and ships ahead in the distance across the sea.

Shouldn't Muslims give back Kashi to Hindus?

Shouldnt Muslims give back Kashi to Hindus.
Hi All,
Kashi Vishwanth temple is one of the most holiest place for hindus. Everyone knows Muslim kings destroyed a portion of the temple and built mosque over there. I am sure destroying the religious sites wont be there in Islam. Shouldn't the Muslims reverse this injustice. Imagine a church or temple in Mecca and Medina !!!!

Why do we need to discuss all this? God is One.......religion is purely human creation.....let it be as it is....all the people of this country are not as educated as you are..logics don't always prevail..provide food and shelter to one poor guy and that is your Mecca, Medina or Vishwanath Temple..God is watching you..his teachings have been completely misunderstood...he never wanted us to follow these rituals.....we interpreted all the religious books to benefit
Citizen Kane Friday, December 29, 2006 2:32:29 PM
If by giving up the sites at Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura for alternate sites for building mosques and if it saves the lives of countless human beings, then it becomes the duty of the minority muslims to give up the claim since the hindus are offering better sites for contructing mosques...Also the Quran says "The whole earth is a place of prayer for the believer"...so why lose precious lives over a piece of land? A generous move by the muslims will close the partition divide forever and make the great country of ours a Super Power...Govt. should stop pampering and listening to the Shahi Imam (enemy #1 of the muslims) and the AIMPLB...A referendum could be held for muslims only and I'm sure the result will surprise the world!

In today's Asian Age it is reported that Muslims in Spain have appealed to the Pope to allow them to pray in the Cathedral of Cordoba in Spain, which was once an ancient mosque. Because they are a minority in Spain and have a history of being trashed by the Christians, Muslims in Spain are not yet asking for the return of the mosque. In Istanbul, Turkey there is a magnificent mosque which was once a Church but the Muslims have no plans to share or part with it. In Jerusalem there is a Jewish Temple from the precincts of which Mohammad took a horse to meet Allah. The Muslims consider it their third holiest mosque and want not only to take complete control of the Temple but the whole city of Jerusalem on which the mosque stands! Thanks to the leadership of Ashok Singhal, the Hindus have the site of Ramjanmabhoomi back. But the mosques in Mathura and Kashi remain, atop ruined temples. Why shouldn’t the Hindus seek to get them back?

Secret of your senses

Thursday, December 28, 2006
Secret of your 5 senses and God(self) realisation.
Five senses of man is made inorder to feel the surroundings around him and act accordingly and survive in the nature.
The power of his senses varies from man to man and man to woman.
The power of other animals may be more perfect than man's.for ex. olfactory power of dog, vision of eagle etc.
This means that an animal or man feels the nature according to the power of thier senses.A color blind man cannot be ever taught what that particular color is in his whole life(these are simple things we forgot to think about).
This means that the world of each and every organism which is totally dependend upon its five senses is totally different from another organism. So we can say that in the world we live in,exists different worlds of different indipendent organisms. So the no.of organisms and no of worlds are equal .
So what is the real world? yours? or your neighbours? or your cats? or your dogs?
You cannot imagine something without any shape. Try this.Close your eyes and imagine something without any shape. In your horror you will find that there comes a point ,a dot, a light or something ,and you will understand that your mind is totally incapable of imagening somethign without any shape.
One muslim friend mailed me " then how millions of muslims worship the formless Allah?"
Truth doesnt depend on numbers. No matter it is one or a million. Who ever try to imagine somethign without a form will never succeed.May be that is why the muslim world is going out of thier own control and act as a point of restlessness throughout the world.
So for a normal man ,if he wishes to really worship the fromless superconciousness,it is best to start with worship something with a form and train his mind with devotion and love and thus move to the real state of meditation where there is nothing.
That is why Jesus said to his deciples" the place where i am going to,cannot be explained to you now ". It is sure that they wont understand it.That is the only reason he didnt try toexplain it to them.
He said "Father and son are one". " i am the gate ,through me you can attain father."
A normal man who worship the form of christ will gradually train his mind to understand what he really ment by "father". Then only he will be able to start training his mind to worship the real formless ,superconsciousness or Father.
So the Importance of "Son" or an avathar like Jesus ,Krishna etc are just to allow the common man to satisfy his senses by adoring Jesus and Krishna and start learning to worship.
If you read The Bible and Koran or Geetha,it is foolishness to think that you will understand everything if you understand it word by word.It has greater depths which will be reavealed to a highly trained mind without Ego or a real craving to shed his ego. These group of rare people usually respect their religion but they dont give much importance to it because from their inner minds they will understand that religion will inhibit thier spiritual growth.
So these people will be interested in all subjects related to god.Their quest for truth wont be stopped by the walls of religions.
Any way think my friend, why you are hindu muslim or christian?
There is only one simple answer.
Because my father and mother were christians.
This is not the right answer at all. If you want to choose god insted of religion you have to study all religions and try to understand the similarities ,not the differences.A mature mind will always see similaties and a crude one will always see differences.
For a common man religion is part of his ego.He wants to prove that he knows better than others and what he know is the only truth.
Try your very best to get out of this. This is the "Maya".The only reason you dont understand is that you dont think rationally.
Hey man and woman learn first to think and then to act properly. This is only qualification to achieve the Kingdome of heaven.
See how 'wintnessess of Jehova " explains heaven and end of life. " you will raise from your graves and live with your beloveds and loved once till the end of time" . See how important it is for them their loved ones in this life. They desperatly want to live with them till the end of time.
But see what Jesus said " those who give importance to his family ,wife ,children etc more than me will never be qualified to achieve kingdome of heaven".
He asked the young man who wanted to follow him to throw away everything and follow him.
See how important it is to be renounced for a christian. And see how renounced the catholics are and see how others want to live in heaven with their family till the end of time.
For me ,any place without the grace and presence of my lord will be totally boring,no matter it is heaven or somthing more greater. If i am with my lord hell will be heaven for me.
Thank you lord to open the at least a little window to wisdome for me to peep in.Hope one day more will be interested to look through it.

King that reigned

Thursday, December 28, 2006
king that reigned
Jagmohan Dalmiya was one name to reckon with in the history of Cricket in India. Mr. Dalmiya was one man who brought about a drastic change in the field of cricket bringing along players whom he favoured to the apex even if it did not matter to the others. No doubt the world cup was lifted by the Indians during his reign. He seemed to be a mighty personality and at every bid had tables turned as per his whims and fancies. No one could have their say nor had to right to voice any wrong doings that went along with it.
Today Mr. Dalmiya is a fallen man with no one on his support nor any one wanting to be in his favour. All his mannerisms of dominance had begun to crumble and he has also been stripped of the last edifice as President of the Cricket Association of Bengal. Until just the other day his word was law, today it has culminated into nothing. A tall figure that reigned the country's game is now one like a faded dust.

HALF-MUSLIM MANMOHAN IS LYING TO GAIN MUSLIM VOTES
Muslim backwardness is a myth created by Congress to gain Muslim votes. Half-Muslim Manmohan is bent on turning thecountry into an Islamic state. He is even encouraging illegal immigration of millions of Muslims into India from Bangladeshand even endangering India's security. UNLESS THE JAINS, SIKHS AND HINDUS THROW OUT THIS EVIL GOVERNMENT YOUR CHILDREN WILL BELONG TO EVIL ISLAM WHICH IN MANY PLACES IN THE QUORAN (eg surah 8, ayat 12) URGES MUSLIMS TO KILL ALL NON-MUSLIMS.

Keep It Clean..!!
This is heights of being disgusting. I mean i don't believe that of all the websites NDTV would end up being like this. I mean this Post of the Day which is come under the name of MK banerjee. Whoever has done such mischief needs to get sorted out at the earliest else it would ultimately result in horrible blogging rather than somehting good coming up.
I mean if all the people in the world have the time to do this then atleast have the decency in doing it under your name. This is ridiculous that somebody can access your email id as well as your pic. This is atrocious and i expect some serious investigation at the earliest.
Or else let's just decide on NOT BLOGGING at NDTV. Doesn't this SCARE everyone? This really needs to be resolved, the sooner the better....!!!!

Live-in relationship

Jargon Over Live-in Relationship
Now a days over the matter of live-in relationship a big confused outcry is going on in India. Some people favour it while some are against it. The population, which is supporting the live-ion relationship culture of western countries in India, definitely has a large number of young people from all over the India. On the other hand, most of the senior citizens and the people over 40 are oppugning against it by describing it as a bane for the Indian culture and civilization.
Many men, many minds. The opinion can differ from person to person. Here some of the questions of great concern arise. That why have this large number of young people prepared them to adopt such live-in relationship culture from the western countries? In addition, what are the circumstances, which made them to do so?
I think that everybody can answer my questions very easily, as he knows very well that in present time the relations between a husband and a wife are not so same as it were in the past. Its whole credit goes to those parents/grandparents who neither ever tried to laugh off their quarrel nor diminished their ego before their sacred bond of marriage. I don’t mean that they didn’t ever try to smooth matter/quarrel over but I am sorry to say they were the poor losers in the match of life.
Today’s youth and adults are laying their hands on this live-in relationship, as they are scared of the deadlock/domestic violence, which used to happen between a married couples in India. Here I don’t want to say that the couples in western countries don’t have mutual verbal or physical fights, it also happens there. Perhaps, this is why the live-in relationship culture prevails in the western countries. While, the live-in relationship culture doesn’t guarantee for the better and peaceful life but it gives a great conviviality to the misogamist couple. So how can some people prove these young guys wrong for adopting live-in relationship for life long by laughing down the past blunders of their own practices? I also consider the live-in relationship is bad for the Indian culture and civilization but I think if two lives can live happily with this relationship throughout their entire life, it is better for not only both of them but also for a society.
In the end but not the least I would like to include also this talk that the parents should present themselves a happy couple before their wards with not only their fiction acts but also with the real practices of their lives so that they (their wards) may not ever imagine to adopt live-in relationship in their future.
For We Shouldn’t Forget Ever - Past Is Always Responsible For The Present And Present Shall Always Be Responsible For The Future.

WRAP THE BODY OF KILLED MUSLIM TERRORISTS WITH PIG SKIN
A Pakistani Christian nurse who worked for me in my medical establishment abroad, described the terror with which the minorities in Pakistan live. The christians maintain muslim name and even muslim dress to avoid detection and harassment. If these terrorised minority christians start terrorist attack against the majority muslims in Pakistan, one can imagine about the swiftness with which the muslims in Pakistan, eliminate the minority christians.
But back in India, it is the other way around. The majority Hindus are subjected to one of most continuous and horrific terrorist attack by muslim terrorists for a very long time, and our government had failed to control it. The Home ministry reports indicate more than 200 terrorist modules are operating in most of the states, and another 200 terrorist cells were eliminated so far. Terrorists had targeted every conceivable place in India from Parliament to temples to shopping plazas. We are now a nation under siege by the islaimic terrorism sponsored by Pakistan and aided by local muslims. As we are a nation of timid cowards, at least the government should plan for defensive measures to avoid catastrophes.
After the tsunami our nuclear plant at Kalpakkam was totally exposed to outsiders. Many active muslim terrorist modules are present in Tamil Nadu and luckily we never had any attack by the terrorists in this installation. Had they successfuliy attacked, even Chennai would have been uninhabitable because of radiation. So also if a group of suicide attackers target any of our nuclear installations. Muslims now have perfected the suicide attack in Iraq and not a day passes without some casualty. Once the attention of muslim nations come out of Iraq, we may experience a spurt of suicide attack by muslim terrorists all over India. It is only the other day some suicide attackers were killed in Delhi who were planning to attack our IT firms in Bangalore. Every day the travel in rail, plane or even a visit to a temple in India is a dangerous thing as any time the muslim terrorists can strike.

Muslim suicide bombers, fired up by their religion can lay many of our cities to waste. The suicide team can waste few of its members, for killing off the security personnel manning any entrance. Such security personnel run the risk of being killed off by the suicide bomber when they make an effort to verify their identity. This scenario is being played in Israel at present. Hence our Nuclear installation which can be attacked by very few suicide terrorists needs special suicide police force from our side to prevent the entry of terrorists to reactors and plutonium plants.
In case the Islamic terrorists gain access to these installation, it is very easy to create a dirty bomb with conventional explosives, and make a city like Bombay non liveable and a no entry area. Britain had created 600 strong armed police force called ?civil nuclear constabulary?, to guard against terror. Britain is worried about nuclear waste theft to make dirty bomb by the terrorists. . The police is authorised to mount patrols, stop and search operations up to 3 miles from every nuclear installations. This special forces are also authorised to make arrests at any other civil sites including sea ports, airports, and railway stations to prevent terrorists seizing nuclear materials in transit. This is in addition to other precautions like concrete blocks at all entrances,3km radius and 600metre high exclusion zone etc. US is enforcing a 20 km no fly zone around all nuclear plants and France had installed surface to air missiles around its reprocessing plants. A dirty bomb is a real possibility in India, and specially trained armed police willing to die for our nation is urgently needed for our nuclear installations. This force can even be called as a suicide squad for nuclear protection. India needs to develop special gases to kill off the terrorists, inside the nuclear plants, if they gain access to it. Also a non-lethal gas capable of causing instantaneous sleep with appropriate delivery mechanism needs to be developed for hostage situations.
Another method to stop the Islamic suicide attackers is to get in to their mind and stop them from starting their terrorist attack. A method first invented in Sudan by British colonials who wanted to deter suicide attack that apparently worked quite well was to cover the body of the dead muslim terrorists in pigskin. . Now Russians are covering the Chechen terrorists, killed in the Moscow kidnap drama in pig skin and burying them. Muslims believe they cannot enter heaven if they're wrapped in pork skin and that they would never be able collect their final reward, i.e., a lifetime of pleasure with 72 virgins in paradise with free booze, as promised in their holy book. Strangely Muslims aren't allowed to drink in this life and not more than four wives, but are promised great wine in paradise and plenty of sex if they die for Islam. Terrorist couldn't be reasoned with, therefore we had to do everything that would defeat them and that includes wrapping his body in pigskin.

Let's not skin a poor pig for the fanatic terrorist. We should skin the terrorist and feed the pigs instead.

Petition against Quran

Petition in 1985 Quran attracts 153A & 295A of I.P.C

Writ Petition in the Calcutta High Court on 29 March 1985 stating that publication of the Quran attracts Sections 153A and 295A of the I.P.C

Muslims in India have often sought shelter under Sections 153A and 295A of the Indian Penal Code (I.P.C.) for preventing every public discussion of their creed in general and of their prophet in particular.1 Quite a few publications which examine critically the sayings and doings of the Prophet or other idolized personalities of Islam, have been proscribed under Section 95 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cr.P.C.) as a result of pressure exerted by vociferous, very often violent Muslim protests. Little did they suspect that the same provisions of the law could be invoked for seeking a ban on their holy book, the Quran.
The credit for this turning of tables goes to Chandmal Chopra of Calcutta. It was he who filed a Writ Petition in the Calcutta High Court on 29 March 1985 stating that publication of the Quran attracts Sections 153A and 295A of the I.P.C. because it ?incites violence, disturbs public tranquility, promotes, on ground of religion, feelings of enmity, hatred and ill-will between different religious communities, and insults other religions or religious beliefs of other communities in India?. He also prayed for a rule nisi on the Government of West Bengal ?to show cause as to why a writ of mandamus be not issued to it directing it to declare each copy of Quran whether in the original Arabic or in any of the languages as forfeited to the Government? in terms of Section 95 of the Cr.P.C.
The case had caused considerable excitement among the ?believers? (Mu'mins) and interest among the ?infidels? (KAfirs) in April-May, 1985. The press in India and abroad gave many headlines to what was rightly regarded as an unprecedented event in the history of religion. It was the first time that a Pagan had questioned the character of a document hailed as the very Word of God by a People of the Book. The roles now stood reversed. So far it had been the privilege of the Peoples of the Book to ban and burn the sacred literature of the Pagans.

ADVICE TO KUMAR BHARAT !STOP INCITING PEOPLE AND GO TO HELL !NO ONE ELSE IS GOING TO COMMENT ON YOUR FERMENTING RELIGIOUS HATRED !

Freedom of speech, which is the hallmark of cyberspace, gives Kumar Bharat the right to write on whatever he wishes.

If I am not mistaken the Calcutta High Court accepted the writ petition but was pressurized to dismiss it by the Congress government of the day.
K.Venugopal Wednesday, December 27, 2006 9:24:41 PM
We can recognize the same appeasement of Muslim sentiments today when the Congress is trying to save Afzal Guru from the gallows.
K.Venugopal Wednesday, December 27, 2006 9:26:06 PM
The Congress also upturned the Supreme Court decision in the Shah Banoo case. But they proclaim, “Let the law take its own course” in the Ram Jamnabhoomi case, because here it is Hindu sentiments.
K.Venugopal Wednesday, December 27, 2006 9:26:57 PM
Now the Congress wants to give first preference to Muslims in the matter of development funds, as if development takes place community-wise instead of region-wise.
K.Venugopal Wednesday, December 27, 2006 9:28:07 PM
If the due process of law was not hindered, the Calcutta High Court proceedings in the case of Quranic violence would have laid the legal foundations to tackle the menace of jihadi terrorism and India would not have become the soft state that it is today, thanks to Congress appeasement of the Muslims.

Creator and creation are definitely distinct

Saturday, December 23, 2006
Creator and creation are definitely distinct..
Human beings are called Jeev Athma (Soul with body) while the Creator is called Param Athma (Supreme Soul). They are definitely and unarguably distinct. Following are a few logics with which this is to be understood.
Bharath (old name of India) is supposed to be the most ancient country with oldest of civilizations, people, culture etc. We have always been familiar with ATHMA (soul). Whenever anyone dies, we hear sayings like, " May his soul rest in peace", "he went to Heaven", "he went to the Supreme Abode", "God has called him back", "he has gone to rest at the Lotus Feet of the Lord" etc. It is never said that the dead person has become part of the Supreme Soul or Creator or Supreme Consciousness.
It is said of elevated souls like Buddha, Mahavir that they attained nirvana. Nirvana means without speech or beyond speech. It can only be interpreted that they went to place where souls do not have a body and hence cannot talk like us. It cannot be said that they merged with God.
We hear terms like "Paapathma" (sinful soul), "Punyathma" (holy soul), "Devathma" (divine soul", "Mahathma" (great soul), but never in the multitude of mind boggling literature and scriptures does one come across words like "Paap Paramathma", "Punya Paramathma", "Mahan Paramathma" etc. This makes clear about the understanding of the oldest civilization that athma (creation) and Param Athma (Creator) are distinct and Param Athma does not have qualities similar to those of souls.
Shankaracharyas are credited with rich discourses on philosophy. They have a tradition of Matt which is continuing over several centuries. The Paramacharya who headed the Kancheepuram peetam upto a few years back was such a non-controversial and totally pure and elevated soul. The next two have for the last few years / months been embroiled in so much of controversy relating to criminal matters. It is clear that even such elevated souls are not the same, leave alone being same as Param Athma.
Souls being the same as or being integral part of one Supreme Soul (known as advaita principle) is detrimental to the spiritual progress of human beings. One will never make any attempts to think, speak and do elevated things if he feels that he is creator as well as creation. The principle of non-duality leads to specious arguments such as the one I heard in a film some years back, in which the villain tells the hero that just as the God in the hero is directing him along a good path, the God within the villain is leading him on the condemned path.
God is not IN us, HE is WITH us. He is not to be feared, He is to be respected and loved just as we love our worldly parents. In western countries they refer to Him as God Father, in Hindu tradition He is called out as "Mother and Father" (Thum hi ho matha, thum hi pitha ho). Parent can never be child, parent will definitely be with the child and wish the child's progress and prosperity.
Let us realize this and make honest, diligent and determined efforts to elevate ourselves to become divine beings. Practice of divine qualities will make us into elevated deities, not God.

Nirvana means MOKHSA OR MUKTHI MEANING AS STATE OF HAVING EVERY THING BUT NO DESIRE TO HAVE IT, A STATE OF NO REBIRTH, A STATE OF IMMORTALITY - A TOTALLY LIBERATED SOUL FROM THE BONDAGE OF KARMA. SUCH SOULD CAN PERFORM CERTAIN ACTS OF GOD BUT NOT EQUAL TO GOD.HOWEVER IF SUCH SOUL WISH TO TAKE REBIRTH CAN DO SO ONLY TO ENLIGHTEN THE GLORY OF GOD AND IMPART THE SAME TO BORKEN SOULD LIVING ON THE EARTHLY PLANET. LIKE SHANKARA CHARYA, GURUNANAK, MOHAMED, JESUS, TULSI DAS,PARAMAHASA...LIST GOES ON.THE LIBERATED SOULS THOUGH LIVE ON THE EARTH BUT LIVE WITHOUT ATTACHMENT TO KARMA - A STATE OF JEEVAN MUKTHI. AS YOU SEE THE DROPLET OF WATER THOUGH RESTING ON LOUTS LEAF, RESTS WITH OUT ATTACHING TO THE LEAF. FOR KARMA BOUND PERSON IT LOOKS LIKE LEAF IS SUPPORTING TO DROPLET, FOR A LEBERATED SOUL IT LOOKS THAT THE DORPLET IS RESTING ON THE LEAF. IF ANY ONE IS DISTURBED THE DROPLET(SOUL) SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY MERGE IN TH WATER SURROUNDING IN THE POOL(SOUL MERGE WITH THE GOD.

Even in Vedantic Dvaita, where God is seen as separate from his creation, the Advaitic influence turns the dvaitic into a bhakta, where the bhakta has a relationship of kinship with God. Without the Advaitic influence, Islam does not move a Muslim to a relationship with God beyond that of master and slave. Except among the Sufis, the relationship of a Muslim to God is about loyalty and not love. At the coarser level, the skin is different from the blood and blood from the bones, but still we are able to experience ourselves as a single person. That is, the finer our consciousness, the more we see the oneness of it all. It is in man to reach the finest levels of consciousness where he sees no difference between him and God, so say the masters of spirituality, from Adi Shankara to Ramanna Maharshi – Tat Tvam Asi.
