Attention all Hindus - Have you read Bhagwad Geeta at any point?

I always wonder whenever I ask my friends, relatives that whether they have read Bhagwad Geeta? I have not found a single person who says that he/she has. Why? Do not know. Perhaps Hindus are not concerned about their religion. When the whole world wants to know about Bhagwad Geeta why such laziness in Hindus.

I am sure after reading it, your pride for your religion will be doubled, no doubt.

The only book which talks not only about human beings but also about the animal welfare.

I have one link on it where you can get detailed knowledge about geet, please visit

Hey, enlarge the crowd you are moving with. There are innumerable people who know the whole of Gita by heart. Moreover, the Hindu culture is such that there is no Hindu who does not know the Kurukshetra battle and Krishna's message to Arjuna. It needn’t come to them through any formal reading. Because the background for the spiritual discourse is no less than the Mahabharatha, the very words and characters of which reverberate in all Indian languages and in all Indian mind’s-eye, exhilarating him or her with the drama of that epic age.

It is true that we Hindus have gone through a long period of lethargy. I think the momentous turning point came with Swami Vivekananda. If you notice, from then all, almost all the swamis giving talks on Hinduism base their vision on Vedanta. Vedanta is awakening the Hindus to the power within them. The next advance will be when a Master comes to delineate the Vedas in all its glory and in the simplest of languages. For the future, there would be the universalisation of the secrets of the Kundalani and all that. If you read Aurobindo, you will also realise that gnostical geniuses will be born again in future, like the Rishis of yore, who will bring heaven to earth.

Await the triumphant blossoming of Hinduism once more.
