Turbulant Deras
Deras are talk of the town today. Dera chiefs enjoy popularity and followings. A punjabi saying is approprite for them.. 'tapo raj, rajon narak' One worships God and is blessed with power, after becoming powerful one indulges oneself in low grade and criminal activities, gets hell in the end.
Another saying goes,'power make a man currupt, absolute power makes him absolutely currupt.' Now blindfolded followers of disguised 'saints' must think and act.
We must get rid of prevailing deraism to prosper.
Logical thinking must be here...

Have you been warning anyone about this 'deraism' till the Guru Govind Singh imitation issue came up? Please enlighten me.

Of course,I have been highlighting this issue for last 10 years. On Dera Sirsa I wrote a lot in SGPC's monthly Gurmat Parkash.

I can understand that you are the aggrieved party (whether valid or not) and I do not wish to hurt your feelings by seeming to support the Deras. Actually, I am not supporting any Deras per se, but only saying that they too have the right of existence and if they break any laws, they must be treated duly as laid down by the law. There should be no witch-hunting of any sort just because they hold different religious views.
