Who sells Religion?
Religion is a private concern. One enjoys its soul purification power. It is certainly not a matter of show-off. Meditation, self purification, moral values are just personal. Prominent Punjabi Sufi poet Baba Bulle Shah wrote..
Mandir dhah de masjid dhah de
dhah de jo kuch dhainda
Bullia kise da dil na dhahi
rab dilan vich rehnda..
Soul is God's home. However, the role of true saint is to enlighten others. This is their service to humanity.
But in our focus are the looters in holy saints disguise. There's no need to pin point them. They are seldom cought and despite that we hear a lot of their ill deeds in media.
They sell religion for their hidden interests. Once they establish their dera (activity center), the inner satan become active in them. The problem is the blind faith for them. This is safest shelter for criminals. All know that.
Everyone is free to adopt any sect, religion. This freedom is significant too. However there is a need for logical reasoning, verifying a path before joining.
Today when criminals are mingled in politics, society, business; at least religion must be free from their evil intentions.

The famous philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurthi used to quote the anecdote of God and Satan walking along the beach when before them they see someone picking up something. God says, he has picked up Truth. Bad business for you. Satan says, I'll let him organize it!
Individuals ought to go to Gurus to learn the higher truths, but must not stay back to be a part of the Guru's organization, just as Gurus must teach individuals the higher truth, but must not retain them to form an organization.
