Untamed Deras
We are successful for taming grreat rivers. Dam is our answer for mighty river. However we dont have such device to controll, regulate, restrict mushrooming deras in India. Many dera cheifs hit headlines everyday for rape, extortion, land-grabbing, expoitation, emotion-blackmailing and polluting our social lives with non-tolerating tempers. All preach God is one, but the only one belonging to their sect. So, people are violent, rioting, killing others.
Till date, not a single dera has given a programme to get rid of national problems i. e. unemployment, corruption, poverty, crime..
Perhaps such problems help these deras flourish. One cant challange authority of dera-operators as religion is considered above all.
To be a religious person is good, but how can one justify blind faith, superstion..
Is there any use of Education? If we keep such deras flourish at the cost of national harmony.

Why would anyone want to have a device to control, regulate, restrict mushrooming Deras in India? If an individual or an institution has broken the law, let the law take its own course, as they say. But are all Deras and all connected to Deras evil? Shouldn't we have something called religious freedom? The problems of unemployment, corruption, poverty, crime have all become acute because individuals have fallen to the pressures of material living. Religious institutions attempt to free man from material pressures. (That is, free man from feeling pressurized due to lack of material prosperity.) Isn't this attempt actually the basic attempt to free the world from its problems, which are all material in nature?
