NDTV Blogs - Issues raised with NDTV and the reply.

We already have moderation running on comments but have not implemented the same for posts because that would infringe on people's right to express their opinions freely. I understand that there are certain mischievous elements who write improper stuff on the boards and our team is working towards checking post content.

I think we are getting hyper-sensitive. There should be no moderation of any kind. Let anyone and everyone say whatever they want in any manner whatsoever. If we think it is carp, we can skip it, can’t we?. Many of the so-called uncouth postings are actually colourful. We can quite see a prankster behind them or a fellow who is feeling left out expressing himself in crazy ways. Let the readers be the judge. NO CENSORSHIP. FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION IS THE BEGINNING OF CREATIVITY.

I have been watching with dismay the Posts and remarks for the past few days.I have not been active for the past 3 months due to work constraints and when i started to view the Posts I was shocked with the content which made me disgusted. I had written to NDTv on this issue and Vikram Johri has been kind enough to reply immediately.I had in the past exposed a blogger for manipulation with regard to the post of the day.However with a Good Intention I have refreshed the page.I dont have any plans of posting content on this blog space in the future and this is my last post.However i would definitely visit the site and post comments.Regards and happy blogging,
