Controversy about Baba Ramdev

Thursday, December 14, 2006 controversy about Baba Ramdev Sri Sri Krishan Chandra Shastriji is famous Panditji & Bhagwat-kathakar of holy Dham Vrindavan ( Mathura ) . Between 10 to 11 pm on Sanskar channel on 11th Dec , he was speaking from Dwarka and has created a good controversy about Baba Ramdev. Sri Sri Krishan Chandra Shastriji said :-- * Baba Ramdev is very good at Yoga etc but should not poke nose into Ramayana-Bhagwatam-Gitaji etc as he tries to apply Arya-samaji principles in Yoga Camps. * As we ( Ramayana-Bhagwatam-Gitaji scholars ) don't interfere into matters of health or Anulom-vilom etc so likewise he should restrict his physical activities limited to that only. * A human requires good physical body + fine Adhyatam to progress in life so Sanatan Dharma as prevalent from ages should not be ridiculed by him. * As people believe in what Baba Ramdev says , he should rather ask them to sing Kirtans , Lord's glories , contemplation of Ramayana-Bhagwatam-Gitaji . If he cannot do that , it's fine but on the contrary he is asking people not to follow Sanatan Dharma ! He is forgetting that sage Patanjali whose disciple he claims to be was great devotee of Lord Dhanavantari --very first doctor of the world. We rever our doctors so much that Lord Dhanavantari is worshipped as incarnation of Lord Vishnuji Himself so he should not misguide the masses unnecessarily ! Any takers please ?
