Goddess of Criminal Beings
Questions raised by Arundhati Roy in Defense of Afzal in her “Upcoming Book”- which proves his innocence
Question 1: For months before the attack on the parliament, both the government and the police had been saying that parliament could be attacked. On Dec 12, 2001, at an informal meeting Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee warned of an imminent attack on parliament. On Dec 13 the parliament was attacked. Given that there was an `improved security drill’, how did a car bomb packed with explosives enter the parliament complex?
Answer- This happens because “our Corrupt Politicians and so called Intellectuals like you consider yourself above board”. I am sure, even today, no VIP/MP stops at the Parliament Gate and let himself and his car thoroughly frisked.
If tomorrow Arunandhti Roy is stopped at Parliament Gate and frisked, there will be another book by her regarding “The Shameless Search”. So no one will touch her and her kind of intellectuals as well.
Question 2: Within days of the attack, the special cell of Delhi police said it was a meticulously planned joint operation of Jaish-i-Mohammad and Lashkar-i-Taiba. They said the attack was led by a man called `Mohammad’ who was also involved in the hijacking of IC-814 in 1998. (This was later refuted by the CBI). None of this was ever proved in court. What evidence did the special cell have for its claim?
Answer- There are certain “leads” and “informers” who can not be made public by the Police and CBI kind of organizations. It is possible that the information came from “such sources” only and it cannot be disclosed.
Question 3: The entire attack was recorded live on close circuit TV (CCTV). Congress Party MP Kapil Sibal demanded in parliament that the CCTV recording be shown to the members. He was supported by the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Najma Heptullah, who said that there was confusion about the details of the event. The chief whip of the Congress Party, Priyaranjan Dasmunshi, said: "I counted six men getting out of the car. But only five were killed. The close circuit TV camera recording clearly showed the six men.” If Dasmunshi was right, why did the police say that there were only five people in the car? Who was the sixth person? Where is he now? Why was the CCTV recording not produced by the prosecution as evidence in the trial? Why was it not released for public viewing?Answer- If Dashmunshi was right and so was others like Najma Heptullah, why did they not appear in the Court as defense witnesses?
Question 4: Why was parliament adjourned after some of these questions were raised?Answer- Parliament adjournment is a “NEW & STARTLING” development in India? Politicians do not let go of any opportunity of Adjournment. Please watch Parliament Coverage for 6 months and explain
a. How many times it got adjourned?
b. How many times it was adjourned for the right reasons?
Question 5: A few days after Dec 13, the Indian government declared that it had `incontrovertible evidence’ of Pakistan’s involvement in the attack, and announced a massive mobilisation of almost 500,000 soldiers to the border. The subcontinent was pushed to the brink of a nuclear war. Apart from Afzal’s `confession', extracted under torture (and later set aside by the Supreme Court), what was the `incontrovertible evidence’?
Answer- As stated above, should CBI, Indian Army Intelligence, Delhi Police, RAW and others need to share all “informers and Contacts” in Pakistan with Ms Roy to prove the evidence?
Question 6: Is it true that the military mobilisation on the Pakistan border had begun long before the Dec 13 attack?Answer- We have maintained very “PEACEFUL AND TRANQUIL” borders with Pakistan since Independence and before the attack, there were no ARMED FORCES PRESENT at the border? RIGHT DUMBO?
Question 7: How much did this military standoff, which lasted nearly a year, cost? How many soldiers died in the process? How many soldiers and civilians died because of mishandled landmines, and how many peasants lost their homes and land because trucks and tanks were rolling through their villages, and landmines were being planted in their fields?
Answer- What is the point in asking this question? Since Soldiers & Civilians die in any Military stand offs, next time when we have a Kargil, we should let Pakistanis “WALK IN” and not put any fight?
Question 8: In a criminal investigation it is vital for the police to show how the evidence gathered at the scene of the attack led them to the accused. How did the police reach Mohammad Afzal? The special cell says S. A. R. Geelani led them to Afzal. But the message to look out for Afzal was actually flashed to the Srinagar police before Geelani was arrested. So how did the cell connect Afzal to the attack?
Answer- Proves that she works for ISI. She is hell bent on “KNOWING” about all informers and contacts..
Question 9: The courts acknowledge that Afzal was a surrendered militant who was in regular contact with Indian forces, particularly the Special Task Force (STF) of occupied Kashmir’s police. How do the forces explain the fact that a person under their surveillance was able to conspire in a major militant operation?
Answer- With this logic, Indira Gandhi would not have been killed by her own “body guards”? Since they were thoroughly “Screened” and their credentials were impeccable. Anyone can turn a traitor. Chances for a Surrendered Militant are much higher- it is possible that he “Surrendered” as per plans of his Jehadi Mentors or he became a misfit and got back to his comrades.
Question 10: Is it plausible that organisations like Lashkar-i-Taiba or Jaish-i-Mohammed would rely on a person who had been in and out of STF torture chambers, and was under constant police surveillance, as the principal link for a major operation?
Answer- She knows the “right people” who should be recruited for such operations by LeT and Jaish. She is in fact planning to do a work shop on “how to select a Reliable Accomplice in Parliament Attack”
- limited publication of the book will be available in NWFP, Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Pakistani Punjab only (She will be also nominated for Nishan-e- Haider for the book).
Question 11: In his statement before the court, Afzal says that he was introduced to 'Mohammed' and instructed to take him to Delhi by a man called Tariq, who was working with the STF. Tariq was named in the police charge-sheet. Who is Tariq and where is he now?
Answer- Don’t know. You must know for your closeness with ISI- please enlighten us and the Courts.
Question 12: On Dec 19, six days after the parliament attack, the police commissioner of Thane (Maharashtra), S. M. Shangari, identified one of the attackers killed in the parliament attack as Mohammad Yasin Fateh Mohammed (alias Abu Hamza) of the Lashkar-i-Taiba, who had been arrested in Mumbai in Nov 2000, and immediately handed over to the J&K Police. He gave detailed descriptions to support his statement. If Police Commissioner Shangari was right, how did Mohammad Yasin, a man in the custody of the J&K Police, end up participating in the attack? If he was wrong, where is Mohammad Yasin now?
Answer- There can be similar names or it is possible that he escaped from Police Custody (happens all the time) or there can be 2 people with similar names. What proof she has that he was the same man (not a different terrorist)?
Or
Is she trying to say that Mumbai and J&K Police “planned this attack”. You are “GENIOUS” Ms. Roy- I am surely inspired by you, I will have a shot at Brooker Prize too. My book will be titled “Goddess of Criminal Beings”
Question 13: Why is it that we still don’t know who the five dead 'terrorists' killed in the parliament attack are?
Answer- Since you know so much about Terrorism and Terrorist Organizations in South Asia and have identified one already (Question 12), please share the rest of the details with us?
Roy and her kind of Intellectuals and Politicians are epilepsy for Indian Democracy. This epilepsy is spreading fast with the help of “Media” and “Confused Indians” who in the absence of “integrity” in their own characters seek inspiration from Roy kind of “Rebels with no Causes”. She has no business in Questioning Supreme Courts- she is not above our Constitution, Law and Courts.
Now I have a Question- Whether Afzal was guilty or not guilty, who will decide?
The courts on the basis of available evidence Or Goddess of Criminal Beings on the basis of her 13 Commandments?

China is illegally occupying approximately 38,000 square km in Jammu and Kashmir, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee told the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. The Communist nation also stakes claim on more Indian territory. Mukherjee had on Wednesday said that "some adjustments will take place... here and there" on the border disputes with China and Pakistan in Arunachal and in J&K

Rajneesh, great retort. Arundhati is a pacey writer. She basically seeks to be anti-establishment. The undying rebel. She has now gone against the Marxist government over Singur. Wait till she questions the Muslims' claim that Islam is the only true religion.

I am not able to post my comments--She has become famous by riding on such controversies. She is close to MEDIA and she gets all media attention. She is no good writer--even a street urchin can write better--but lo she got the award for the sickening book--" THE GOD OF SMALL THINGS". AN utter nonsense by literary standards. She managed an award. HOW?--god alone knows.
