A World Without Islam:Part 6: Religion of Truth (Islam) must prevail?
Religion of Truth (Islam) must prevail?
This blog is in response to Mr Citizen Kane’s blog. Since he brought many issues at a time (normal tendency of muslims) in that blog and I don’t want to answer all of them in a single blog (as it will be too lengthy to read), I am responding one by one.
My last blog “A World Without Islam-Part 5: No Compulsion In Religion?” shows that there is a compulsion in Islam.
Mr. Citizen Kane, you wrote in your blog:

“And Mr. Infidel (r u both same persons?)..
quoting verses from the Holy Quran in bits and pieces (even the full verse u r not able to quote) and trying to prove lies shows ur cheap culture and upbringing...twisting of truth cannot survive for long...hiding behind fictitious names and slandering - ur a COWARD of the first order...if u have guts why dont u have a one on one debate with facts with a learned muslim instead of appyling cheap theatretics and mischief making and slandering!”

No, Mr PM and me are two different persons.

I thought you have in depth knowledge of islam, you understand the meaning of verses by yourself. But I was wrong. You understand only that meaning which is being told to you by mullahs. I can and will quote full verses from translator of your choice like Yusuf Ali, Pickthal, Bukhari etc.
Abusing me surely shows your culture and upbringing.

Why do you want to know my real name, to behead me? You people are doing this for 1400+ years and still very much ready to do so. What truth you have in Koran which can not be debated on internet, so every time you people insist on one to one debate. To save my life from Islamic fanatics is not cowardness. To reveal my identity and get beheaded is surely stupidity.

You wrote:
“U have in ur blog "World without Islam Part 3" quoted a few verses from the Holy Quran....Below are ur translation and the one I produce from Imam Yusuf Ali (One of the authentic translations available today)
U Quoted 'The "Religion of Truth" (Islam) must prevail, by force if necessary, over all other religions" Quran Surah 9.33
The Translation of Imam Yusuf Ali " It is He who hath sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth to cause it to prevail over all religions, Even though the Pagans may detest it" Surah 9: 33”

Ok, Mr Kane. Here is the translation of the same verse 9.33 from Pickthal, who is also a very authentic translator (You only referred it to me):

"He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion, however much the idolaters may be averse." Surah 9:33

In addition to this let me quote 2 more verses (translated by Pickthal) as below:

“He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion. And Allah sufficeth as a Witness.” 48:28

“He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it conqueror of all religion however much idolaters may be averse.” 61:9
These above verses state the ultimate, overriding goal of Islam. Note the "however much the idolaters may be averse." Clearly, that is compulsion in religion. No upper limit is set here as to how much coercive force may be imposed upon the idolaters, and upon disbelievers generally.

Here are some more verses (translated by Pickthal):

"O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end." 9:73
"They swear by Allah that they said nothing (wrong), yet they did say the word of disbelief, and did disbelieve after their Surrender (to Allah). And they purposed that which they could not attain, and they sought revenge only that Allah by His messenger should enrich them of His bounty. If they repent it will be better for them; and if they turn away, Allah will afflict them with a painful doom in the world and the Hereafter, and they have no protecting friend nor helper in the earth." 9.74

"O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)." 9.123
It is clear from these verses that the disbelievers, and those hypocrites and apostates of Islam who fail to repent, will receive a painful doom in this world and in the Hereafter. To fight and be harsh against the disbelievers, is a religious duty.

Now get ready for your prophet’s words:

Several reliable Hadith show clearly that the death penalty was used for apostasy, with Mohammad's (Allah's) blessing. For example, in Bukhari, volume 4, book 52, number 260, it is reported that "The Prophet said, 'If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him.'" This policy of executing apostates is confirmed in the Sira, e.g., Ishaq: 550, 551.

If there is no compulsion in religion, then one must be free to opt a religion of his own choice, which is definitely not allowed in islam. Isn’t it a kind of FORCE to retain a muslim into islam forever.

you have given the translation of this verse"He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion, however much the idolaters may be averse." Surah 9:33 If you look at this verse very carefully you will come to the conclusion that if the people who wants to embrace the religion of truth, they will not be hindered by the idolators and the it will prevail.that is why "however much the idolators may be averse" words has come.

Dear Learner, But where are the idolators in Arabia today? It proves that Allah's promise "if the people want to embrace the religion of truth, they will not be hindered by the idolators" in effect meant that Allah will get rid of the idolators. Mohammad upheld Allah's promise by cleansing Mecca of idols and later on the idolators.

Dear Learner, When Allah says He will afflict the hypocrite with "a painful doom in the world and the Hereafter", the Quran is caricaturing Allah. Wouldn't Allah know what's in everyone's heart and shouldn't He have formulated a religion that brings about a change of heart instead of getting His messenger to frighten everyone out of their wits into submission?
