Monday, December 4, 2006 SPRITUALITY On 3rd dec on NDTV there was an interesting programme on God menMany questions were raised but no satisfactory answers wre given. Each participant had his fixed views and they stuck to it. Swami Agnivesh though speaking on behalf of Ratioalists himself was dressed in yellow ochre, why? Similarly followers of various God men were deeply rooted in blind faith for their Gurus. An Important question is why people flock to them?To me they are all distressed persons seeking a solution to their troubles by miraculous powers of their Gurus.And this is what the Gurus exploit.We forget that troubles are inevitable IN LIFE and all we have to do is to stand up to them and say I am stronger than you and tackle . This is exactly what the Gurus say. Materialism says that you can solve your problems by external acquisitions.
