Below is the comment given by Vijay Gudis - what makes you say that?Learner - Ever heard about Guru Nanak and Sikhism? Ya, he never claimed to be a Prophet, neither claimed GOD talked to him though!!! My Answer to this is: Dear Vijay, yes you are correct when you said that guru nanak never claimed that he is a prophet. He was a saint and a pious person and believed in one God.And also he never claimed that God talked to him, because God only talked with Prophet Moses directly. And with nobody else, but he indeed sent messages through his angels to the prophets. This article is in response to the comments written by Venugopal on the post Islam-Facts One Must know in reponse to my comments. This comment below is given by Venugopal: Dear Learner, I name Satya Sai Baba, who has claimed to be more than a prophet - he has claimed to be God. Satya Sai Baba has achieved more in his life time than Mohammad did in his - and Sai Baba is still alive. My Answer to this comment is: Dear venugopal, yes Satya Sri Saibaba claimed to be God.But whoever claimed to be God, in Islam it is the most heinous sin.No Prophet claimed that he is God but definitely has told that he is the messenger of God.But you may claim that jesus claimed that he is a God and a son of God.But we muslims is of the opinion that jesus never claimed divinity.Ok tell me one thing if suppose jesus is the son of God then why did he died, he should have been alive forever like the God. 9:29:47 PM Posted By Lesson Learner Comments (1) Personals Comments K.Venugopal Thursday, December 7, 2006 7:46:58 PM Dear Lesson Learner, Thank you for your response. For your information, Christians believe that Jesus is alive forever like God. In Islam it may be the most heinous sin to claim to be God. But it is no sin in Hinduism because Hinduism teaches that Godhood is our ultimate destiny. |
