Contribution of Indian Muslims

Thursday, December 14, 2006 Contribution of Indian Muslims towards nation building Hi All, Sometimes I wonder whether the Muslims in India have made any significant contributions towards nation building. Of course here and there one can find exceptions like President Kalam and others. But majority of them seems to be a burden on the nation when you compare them to Christians and other minorities. Majority of the muslims are illiterate and they oppose all the forward looking measures. They reproduce like rats. Hardly any of them pay tax. They indulge in anti social and anti national activities. The rest of the nation is being taxed to carry this burden I guess. The only problem I find with the Muslims of India is that they hold on to the Arabian idea of religion which states that only Islam is true and all other religions are no religions at all. Our Indian Muslims should go out and convert the Arabs to the great Indian (Hindu) view that though Truth is one, it can be expressed variously. If this does not happen, then Islam itself stands to be wiped out from the world, because Islam-of-the-Arabic-view threatens through terrorism to strangulate secularism and democracy everywhere and the world will not put up with this. So, dear Indian Muslims, be proud of your Hindu heritage, convert the Arabs and save Islam.
