Koran-The Word Of Allah? - Part 3
Mr. K. Muneerudeen wrote in his article MISCONCEPTIONS FOR ALL TO READ:

"Could it be a coincidence that all this recently discovered scientific information from different fields was mentioned in the Quran, which was revealed fourteen centuries ago?"

You claim that quran is word of allah and all recently discovered scientific information was already mentioned in quran i.e. 1400 years ago.

Simple questions.
Why Islamic wisdom awakes only after something is discovered in today’s science?
Why all of sudden a recent scientific discovery is being claimed to be mentioned in quran as soon as it is discovered and if it fits (in a twisted manner though) quranic verses?
Why not muslims say what scientific facts (miracles) are in quran yet to be discovered?

Can any believer of quran as allah’s word list the things that are awaiting to be discovered by science? Anything that is not yet known in science and technology.

You've got a good point, Infidel. I can think of at least 2 things that are well known among Hindus but science (modern science, that is) is yet to discover. (1) The Kundalini power situated at the base of the spine. In fact, I believe the science of the future would be a pursuit of this power. (2) The power that is generated in temples by tantric techniques of consecration. This is a power like the power of electricity or the power of gravity or the magnetic power.

Quran predicts that there is life in outer space...The world will get the answer in a few decades... also the miracles mentioned in the Quran 1400 were read but people couldn't cpmprehend the higher level of revelations...As the time progressed man invented machines and techniques by which the facts were proved...Similar too is the fact about life in outer space!

Quran mentions sky will melt and the life on earth will end and nobody would be alive.The science is yet to discover the reason why sky will melt and how the life on earth will end.Quran also quotes that once the life on earth ends completely, dead humans will come alive. Leave aside Quran(which is above the IQ level of an ordinary human being)Our Prophet told a time is gonna come when a man will kill a man and then he will again bring back life in him and again if he tries to kill the same person who he made alive, will not able to kill him.Has science been able bring back a dead man alive. i don't think so. But one day it will be done by the brains provided by Allah.

God revealed the Holy Quran to his messenger who was unlearned and unlettered over a period of 23 years.It contains many verses which people couldn't grasp or understand like Big bang theory, expansion of universe, Sun also moves about its axis, seperation of 2 water bodies by a invisible viel, embryo development, mountains as pegs, and many more...The inventions by Europeans or others in no way takes away the credit that it was revealed 1400 years ago. It definitely proves that the Quran is a word of God and NOT some concocted manuscript. IT IS A REAL PITY THAT MUSLIMS WHO HAD THE SOURCE TO THESE INVENTIONS COULDN'T UTILISE IT. It shows the subjugation of the community the world over especially by the mighty powers..in fact muslims were the first to prepare the map, discover paper, sun dials, time clocks, and many other inventions (source BBC World Docu) during the muslim rule in Spain and Arabia..After the crusades all the muslim intellect disappeared and till now the muslims are deprived of education which if given to them, they will create wonders!

God is He Who raised up the heavens without any support—you can see that—and then established Himself firmly on the Throne. He made the Sun and Moon subservient, each running for a specified term. He directs the whole affair. He makes the Signs clear so that hopefully you will be certain about the meeting with your Lord. It is He Who stretched out the Earth and placed firmly embedded mountains and rivers in it and made two types of every kind of fruit. He covers over day with night. There are Signs in that for people who reflect. In the Earth there are diverse regions side by side and gardens of grapes and cultivated fields, and palm-trees sharing one root and others with individual roots, all watered with the same water. And We make some things better to eat than others. There are Signs in that for people who use their intellect. (Qur’an, 13:3-4)Does not man see that We created him from a drop yet there he is, an open antagonist! He makes likenesses of Us and forgets his own creation, saying, “Who will give life to bones when they are decayed?” Say “He Who made them in the first place will bring them back to life. He has total knowledge of each created thing; He Who produces fire for you from green trees so that you use them to light your fires.” Does He Who created the heavens and Earth not have the power to create the same again? Yes indeed! He is the Creator, the All-Knowing. His command when He desires a thing is just to say to it, “Be!” and it is. Glory be to Him Who has the Dominion of all things in His Hand. To Him you will be returned. (Qur’an, 36:77-83)If you are surprised at their blindness, what could be more surprising than their words: “What, when we are turned to dust, shall we then be created all anew?” These are the people who reject their Lord. Such people have iron collars round their necks. Such people are the Companions of the Fire, remaining in it timelessly, for ever. (Qur’an, 13:5)

When you recite the Qur'an, We place an obscuring veil between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter. We have placed covers on their hearts, preventing them from understanding it, and heaviness in their ears. When you mention your Lord alone in the Qur'an, they turn their backs and run away. Indeed they are even more astray! (Surat al-Furqan: 43-44)This is the path of your Lord – straight. We have made the Signs clear for people who remember. (Surat al-An'am: 126)…In this way We make Our Signs clear for people who reflect. (Surah Yunus: 24)

If they see a Sign they turn away, saying “There is no end to this witchcraft!” They have denied the truth and followed their whims and desires, but everything has its time. (Qur’an, 54:2-3)They have sworn by God with their most earnest oaths that if a Sign comes to them they will believe in it. Say: “The Signs are in God’s control alone.” What will make you realize that even if a Sign did come, they would still not believe? We will overturn their hearts and sight, just as when they did not believe in it at first, and We will abandon them to wander blindly in their excessive insolence. Even if We sent down angels to them, and the dead spoke to them, and We gathered together everything in front of them right before their eyes, they would still not believe unless God willed. The truth is that most of them are ignorant. (Qur’an, 6:109-111)

I will divert from My Signs all those who are arrogant in the earth without any right. If they see every Sign, they will not believe in it. If they see the way of right guidance, they will not take it as a way. But if they see the way of error, they will take that as a way. That is because they denied Our Signs and paid no attention to them. (Surat al-A'raf: 146)Who could do greater wrong than someone who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord and then turns away from them, forgetting all that he has done before? We have placed covers on their hearts, preventing them from understanding it, and heaviness in their ears. Though you call them to guidance, they will nonetheless never be guided. (Surat al-Kahf: 57)Certainly those who argue about the Signs of God without any authority having come to them have nothing in their breasts except for pride which they will never be able to vindicate. Therefore seek refuge with God. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. (Surat al-Mu'min: 56)Who hears the Signs of God recited to him and then persists in his arrogance just as if he had never heard them. Give him the news of a painful punishment. (Surat al-Jathiyah: 8)But there are some people who trade in distracting tales to misguide people from God's Way knowing nothing about it and to make a mockery of it. Such people will have a humiliating punishment. When Our Signs are recited to such a person, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard, as if there was a great weight in his ears. So give him news of a painful punishment. (Surah Luqman: 6-7)If you obeyed most of those on earth, they would misguide you from God's Way. They follow nothing but conjecture. They are only guessing. (Surat al-An'am: 116)

Many places in the Holy Quran, God gives a challenge to human beings to produce a like that of the Quran and finally the challenge is that "bring all the humans, jinns and all your friends in the universe and produce a verse like this" or the verses praising the messenger of God like "he is mercy for the humankind" and at another instance "he is a mercy for the whole of universe".Why has God mentioned mercy to whole of Universe? or call your friends from the universe? But naturally there has to be some life in other systems..Science has proved today that there are billions of such solar systems as ours..Except for the Almighty God no one can say..And no one can fortell the future except the Almighty God. Only when the time comes can one find the facts of the Quran to be true just like the miracles proved so far.

Dear Muslim friends, No one is questioning the greatness of God. If the Quran records His greatness, so does all other scriptures from the Vedas down. The question is, what do we do with ourselves? What is our potential? The Muslims believe that being loyal foot-soilders of Allah is enough. Hinduism believes we have to discover the divinity within us. This is the basic difference between Islam and Hinduism.

Scientists are sending rockets and satellites and spaceships, to try and prove there is life on Mars, etc. It is not established – they say… ‘There are high chances.’ But the Qur’an says…‘There is life besides this earth’ – and I believe in it.Surah Anbiya, Chapter 21, Verse 107 “We sent thee not, but as a mercy for all creatures.”Surah Saba, Chapter 34, Verse 28“We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not.”
