Suggestion to Ajmal Rashid (Updated with another message for infidel in comment section)
I am writing this post because NDTV is not accepting any comments.
There is no use ajmal, writing this kind of blogs. The hearts of the people have surpassed rocks.
Because some rocks are there from which water gushes out. And because of this hardness of heart, Allah has decided to keep them where they are i.e. in darkness.
Everybody will get his rewards on the day of resurrection. Lets wait for that day.
And one more thing change the category of your post from "entertainment" to something else.

Yes, let those who enjoy the 'darkness' (according to you), enjoy the darkness. The whole problem with people like Ajmal and you is that you keep giving 'unsolicited' advice about God,Allah, etc etc

Dear Learner,Can you elaborate "what is day of resurrection" and how long will it be as per Islam/Quran
Learner Thursday, January 18, 2007 9:54:28 AM
I am surprised to know that you don't know the day of resurrection. So as you have asked formally I will tell you. The dictionary meaning of it is "the rising of the dead on Judgment Day."In Arabic language it is called "Qiyamah" and you may be well aware how many times this word has appeared in the Quran. In Hindi i will tell you;"wo jo Qayam hone wala din.And on this day the one who did bad will be given his reward that is hell fire(jahannam)and the one who did good deeds will be given his reward that is paradise(jannah)and Prophet(SAWS) said that day will be approximately mind you approximately about 50 thousand years long.In Hindi i will tell you' "wo din zameen ki zindagi ke 50 hazaar saal ke baraar hoga. That means the duration of that day is as long as 50,000 years. As i have done by job. If you make fun of this also which i hope you would i don't care. Allah would definitely give best rewards to me for telling you this.

Dear Learner,Thanks for the reply.Don't be surprised, I know what judgement day is but not in details as you might know. That is why I requested you to elaborate it. I mean, details like, deads will be raised from their graves and will be given body, there will be a trial in front of allah and rewards as per deeds etc.As you mentioned this day will be 50000 years long. I don't understand why approx. Isn't it mentioned in quran that it will be our 50000 years(365 days=1 year, zamin ki zindagi ke). Then why approx. Please clarify. Please provide the verse that states 50000 years so that I can understand that it is exact 50000 years or approx.PS:I have no intention to make fun out of it, though it looks like a part of a fairy tale. But don't mind, I am an Infidel, not a believer.

Infidel,I don't think it is mentioned in Quran that the day of Qiyamah or resurrection is of 50,000 years long duration. But definitely Prophet(SAWS)told that it is approximately 50,000 years. But i cannot say with full confidence that it is not mentioned in Quran. I need to ask that thing. You know there are many thing which are not there in Quran but was said by Prophet. and to we Muslims it is as important as Quran. Hadith is the word of Prophet and Quran is the word of Allah.like wise Prophet(SAWS) showed how to offer Namaz(prayer)which is not mentioned in Quran. I mean the method of offering Namaaz is not there in Quran.Hope you have understood my point.

Dear Learner, I do not understand. When you say the duration of the day of judgement would be 50,000 years, does it mean that the process of judging the first man to the last man would take 50,000 years and the first man would have been in paradise or hell for 50,000 years before Allah judges the last man or does it mean that the reward or punishment would start after 50,000 years, the first man having to wait 50,000 years before going to heaven or hell? This is all a little confusing and there are endless questions. Please clarify.
