Time Bomb Is Ticking…
As I am writing this post a TIME BOMB is ticking just few miles away from the place I am sitting. You may wonder, WHAT!
But, yes it is true. This ‘Time Bomb’ is nothing but AFZAL - The TERRORIST. Lodged in Tihar Jail, he is nothing but a time bomb waiting to explode on our “SECULAR AND LIBERAL” INDIA.
What, makes me think so; are the following reasons. But let me first put this in right ‘perspective’ for you to appreciate the facts and situation clearly.
Facts are…
1.We have a Govt. headed by a “SECULAR” party and supported by “SECULARISTS” of all hues, colours, size and ideologies.
2.The Honorable Supreme Court strikes all those who were advocating for “Clemency” for the Terrorist, again. They are NOW more wounded and furious.
Now! There were three types of “save terrorist” activists.
a). Verbal Terrorists.
b). Secular Fundamentalists.
c). Jihad’s Terrorists.
Category (a) & (b) have so far tried their best but bad luck to them and GOOD LUCK for India, their campaign met the fate it deserved.
Category (c) always existed, but THEN I am Confident that our BRAVE forces are capable of tackling them ONLY IF they are allowed to.
Then, what makes me feel that Afzal is a Ticking Bomb?
As I am ‘Prejudiced & Biased’ • infact all bloggers are prejudiced and biased one way or another, so not apologetic at all • against this brand of “secularism”, I am still not sure whether Afzal will keep his date with the HangMan at Tihar or not!
Even After The recent SC verdict!!??
I have my reasons to Guess that he will not be Hanged; Not At least Till UP Elections are over. I will not ‘insult’ your Intelligence by elaborating the point any further.
As the case stands today Terrorist’s mercy plea is pending before the President • only technically • and the Good Doctor and his team has not YET [predictably] started considering, therefore no decision will be taken for some more time to come. The process “could take SIX years too”, as told to Lok Sabha by our Home Minister Shri Shiv Raj ‘BLUBBERING’ Patil.
As mentioned above category (c) terrorists are not my concern, they can be taken ‘care of’. I am definitely worried about the Category (a) and (b).
These two will not allow Afzal to hang on one pretext or another. It would be at our own PERIL to undermine their potential for providing “specious arguments” in favor of the likes of Afzals.Their ‘propensity’ to create a ‘hallo’ around the terrorists is profound. Such are these two lobbies that they will not spare any one or any thing to save the “secularism” from the hands of “communal” forces.
In this case Saving Afzal from the NOOSE.
This is what makes me SHUDDER. My apprehension is that NOW we should prepare ourselves to face another KANDHAR or Mumbai Serial Blasts or countless such things as ‘ransom’ against Afzal. Given the present circumstances
THIS SEEMS HAPPENING IN NEAR FUTURE.
Now! Tell me if Afzal-The Terrorist is not a ticking BOMB then; PRAY tell what a ticking bomb is?

Anil bhai,I agree with you..It is a ticking time bomb..We had Masood Azhar & Co. in jails for 5 years before Kandahar happened..Why were both the congress and BJP governments silent to give him punishment? They should have been hanged a long time back saving our country crores of rupees and saving thouands of innocent lives as Azhar has created more bloodshed after his release by the NDA/BJP govt...Similar is happening with Afzal? As I have already said in my earlier blogs Afzal should be hanged and no second thoughts on that and the apt date 13/12 has also gone..Better late than never..Rightly said he is a ticking bomb waiting to explode!

In hanging Afzal we are no longer hanging an individual but the very idea of terrorism. Like shoot-at-sight orders during emergency, we ought to have legally sanctioned kangroo-courts to hang a Afzal a day to win the fight against terrorism. Ushnam ushname shanti!

The definitions of God, Religion, Moralities, Social Codes and 'PERMISSIBLE NORMS OF HUMAN CONDUCT' are all within the domain of these two disciplines. We must reduce this gap between the two amongst the humans to make them more responsive to needs of humanity--which is solely ITS EXISTENCE AND SURVIVABILITY.

Mr Joshi, of such visions are totalitarian states born. Militant nationalism is a dangerous ideology, and always ends bady. Mussolini, Hitler and Tojo are good examples of what happens when it seizes the public imagination. In India, we had a brief taste of it during the Emergency. You may applaud the trains running on time, but then, you probably didnt have a family member hauled off in the middle of the night. Vigillante justice and kangaroo courts, which you espouse, lead only to gross miscarriages of justice. Justice and due process is the first victim. Freedom of speech and expression is the next. Which are probably fine with you, untill you are a victim of it.
