Yadavs --journey from Dwarka to Delhi
Srimad Bhagwatam says that after slaughtering Kamsa & other demons , Lord Krishna found that His own lineage people ( Yadavs ) were also a burden on earth as they
* were fond of luxuries of life
* and beyond control.
So He planned drowning of Dwarka so that no Yadav is left . But come Kaliyug and some residing in Bihar / UP adopted ( the dead ) name of Yadav and they are ruling India today quite smartly :---
* as CM . If Mulayam called Sonia videshi , she became " desi " as he needed her support to save his state govt ! He also supports UPA at Centre but talks of 3rd front --very smart politician indeed. Brother Shivpal Yadav called Noida massacre as " chhoti-moti" ghatna thereby proving that Yadavs are really insensitive. Mulayam's concern for a foreigner ( Saddam ) but insensitivity to Noida victims has revived term " Mulla Mulayam ".
* Laloo is more smart . To escape CBI in fodder scam , he is virtually at feet of Sonia and enjoys plum Ministry of Railways. He got Advani arrested over Sri Ram temple issue but for votes can adopt any religion any time --a true chameleon .He is dreaming of PM post inspite of criminal record.
* Sharad Yadav is also smart politician and is head of Janta Dal --he also changes his stand often but just to remain in headlines.
If you know other " colourful " Yadav , please comment here . For all the decades , Scheduled Castes / tribes were complaining of excesses by them but now Yadavs call themselves proudly " OBC s " just for the sake of few privileges ! A smart race indeed .

There is a great Yadava amidst us and that is the Yoga Guru Swami Ramdas, worthy of the lineage of Lord Krishna. Like Nandkishore, he is above the limitations of caste.

Shame on all of you for abusing an entire Community.There are lot of corrupt Brhamins as well like Manu Sharma, Sushil Sharma, Romesh Sharma etc.There are good as well as bad elements in all Communities. Yadavas are a proud and flourishing community and I feel sad that you are maligning the name of all in the name of your "OWN" Mythology and History.

there was only one family earlier,one world.coming to varnas every varna belongs to lord.krishna.in zest irrespective of varna you are born into do your duty as required by the varna you are born into and attain moksha or salvation.if such was the case we wouldn't have had sant.kabir,shirdi.saibaba,sant.ravidas,bhaktha.kumbara,bhaktha.kanakadasa,purandara dasa,vibhishana,bhaktha.prahalad etc.there is no hard and fast rule that only so and so varna born attain moksha.so irrespective of varna one is born into cannot guarantee salvation.every varna has a share of good and bad people.

I agree with you that Swami Ramdev is a Brahmin in the highest meaning of the term, just as Swami Vivekananda was. If they are not Brahmins, then how many Brahmins are there?
I've always taken the stand that castes should be done away with but the communities formed by the castes should be cherished as part of the larger Hindu entity. In the context of T. Reddy's blog I mentioned Swami Ramdev's caste.
I quote the following from Wikipedia:
"Swami Ramdev was born as Ramkishan Yadav in Alipur, Mahendragarh district of Indian state of Haryana. He attended school through the 8th grade in Shahjadpur. Thereafter, he joined a yogic monastery (gurukul) in Khanpur village to study Sanskrit and Yoga. Eventually, he renounced worldly life and entered into Sanyas (monastic living) - taking the name Swami Ramdev.Then he went to Jind district and joined the Kalva gurukul and later imparted free Yoga training to villagers across Haryana. It is said that he travelled the Himalayas for several years before he settled in Haridwar. He discovered several medicinal plants in the Himalayas which he uses in treating his patients. Swami Ramdev started relentless efforts to popularise Yoga in 1995 with the establishment of Divya Yoga Mandir Trust, along with Acharya Karamveer and Acharya Balkrishna."

I have seen that 99% of the yadavs I have encountered had a sort of rowdy nature in them inspite of their education.

I am Crediting that all the other community except yadav's are good natured and very soft nature. I just want to ask one question how many yadav's has he(Rowdy) encountered. You cannot discriminate any community as such whole there are many yadav's who are very soft natured and small statistic that of the indias popultion yadavs constitue about more than 20% population(Including Tamilnadu) so crime percentage of yadav is much less that the Countrys totla crime percentage represents.(We all would have studied the proballity theory Picking a white ball from a basket of 5 white ball and 2 black ball).

your post about Yadavas is a race discrimination.
You are fortunate that you are in a diverse country like India where such obnoxious racism is tolerated in a name of Varna system.Very interestingly arousing frustration amongst the tricky, clever, greedy, lousy and internally week forward classes, whose deeds to the Indian society has let the looters, invaders come and ransacked the country whenever they could.
Moreover, i can understand that you are suffering from double degree identity crisis and most probably you belong to the crafty brahmin caste. So here your pain is double. You fled from Malaysia just to save your coward face. Shame on you...
by nature you are... always tricky and escapists. Look at the Yadavs they have stayed and fought and won everytime. look at the history... you coward face...you are shame for the indian society.
