HOW ABOUT PARENT’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR A CHANGE?
It is ok to blame Police for callousness, for being corrupt and incompetent. It is right to demand resignation of Mulayam Government and calling it Political bankruptcy.
It is right to call everyone responsible- state government, state agencies and everyone who could have arrested Mohinder and his Servant in time.
How about parents of the Children?
Surely, they are crying today in front of the camera. Missing their loved ones, in abject grief and sorrow and demanding death penalty without trial.
Where they were, when for 3 years in a row, child after child was disappearing from a particular spot?
Where they were, when the servant of Mohinder was luring Children with sweets, chocolates and taking them inside the ill fated bungalow without any force or sedatives?
Were they completely blind to the fact that Children are disappearing? Were they completely UN aware of the fact that their Children are lured away and all this is going on at a particular spot for not one, two or three days but for three years?
They were working class parents. Probably, both were employed somewhere. They could not have been with their Children all the time. But could they not “teach” their Children to remain away from those fishy bungalows? Could they not teach them not to take anything from a stranger? Could they not keep a watch over them when it was most needed?
When you give birth to a baby, you have some responsibilities. It does not matter that you are rich or poor. You have every right to demand state protection for your kids. You have the right to ask the Death penalty of Mohinder, his servant and ask dismissal of Mulayam and cops. But rights come with responsibilities.
How could they allow five/ six/ seven year olds go without parental watch? How could they not have been concerned of the safety of such young children who could have been run over by a car, attacked by an animal or sexually assaulted?
The Killers did not kidnap the Children from their homes or Schools. The kids were not picked up from shops or Public Parks. The kids USED to play around the place and all were LURED into the bungalow by the Servant.
Slum dwellers need to learn like all Parents the dos and don’ts of good parenting. And like Mohinder many among them should be punished for they failed to raise their Children with minimum basic parental standards.
If you cannot take care of your Children, you have no right to mourn their deaths in front of the Cameras. Like Mohinder, Mulayam and Police, you cannot get away with your crime which is neglect of basic parental duties and should be punished along with others.

You are somewhat heartless. How can any parent wish ill for their children? The parents did complain to the police, who refused to entertain them. Or maybe the police kept giving them hope that they would return. These poor people did not have access to politicians because they did not have votes. And they had other children to feed, so they could not leave their daily wage jobs and organize long drawn protests.
