Shop on rent for Rs.55.

Monday, January 8, 2007
landlord , the poor owner or tenant , the rich occupant...
SHOP ON RENT @ Rs.55/= PER MONTH
as on Dec.2006
Can you believe this? Well, it is true .There is a tenant who pays Rs.55/= per moth till date for a commercial property in the heart of New Delhi – SUNDER NAGAR MARKET, a prime locality. There are several people like us, landlords who are still waiting for GODO to come and do something or a miracle to happen…But no one will appear from the whole universe, it is WE who have to stand and fight. Awaken to the need of the hour NOW, coz either it’s now or never. Why the tenants should make merry and the landlord await years or even generations to enter into his own property? Gods help those who help themselves…Rise ‘n shine …Your forefathers did not leave this property for outsiders to enjoy and you and your family to suffer. Their vision was for you. Let’s start the process of helping this very ill community to recover from this deadly disease of occupying others land and property for almost nothing. Its time to get together and face the patients and the disease. Let’s change the history of our own land/property. Find out about people like us who are suffering in the dreaded hands of these tenants and our families – children waiting to get justice. Everything has a price in this world, nothing comes for free. Our land – for some of us the only hope to survive or to live…How can I let it go? How can I let it be occupied by outsiders…? It does not matter where your land is, the important part is it yours…You have a right to have it and do what you like on it. It is Your own, so you better fight hard to own It. Pay the debt of gratitude to the one who thought of you and struggled hard to make this land. Least you can do is to restore it to the ones it belongs to.

I think it is outrageous that anyone should be paying only Rs.55 for a commercial property in the heart of New Delhi. The law ought to be amended to ensure that such unfairness is not perpetuated.
